Loving You                    (turn up your speakers & click on the song title)

I stole a kiss and ran from you,

That sort of thing young boys will do,

You know sometimes I miss those days,

But I’m sure glad I grew out of that phase.

‘Cause life for me is an easy one,

And loving you is the easiest thing I’ve ever done.

When you were nine and I was ten,

I knew I loved you even then,

Some how I knew I would make you mine,

And we’d share our love until the end of time.

‘Cause life for me is an easy one,

And loving you is the easiest thing I’ve ever done.

It’s never easy to walk into the fire,

But with your hand in mine I have the desire,

To climb every mountain and swim every sea,

For if I loose my way you’ll be there as my guide,

With your lovin’ eyes.

It’s been a while since we were young,

Years come and gone have changed us some,

Old memories fade into the haze,

But I always smile when I recall those days.

‘Cause life for me is an easy one,

And loving you is the easiest thing I’ve ever done.

As pretty as a Summer’s day,

Your touch still takes my breath away,

And though I know that you are mine,

I still think about you all the time.

Life for me is an easy one cause,

Loving you is the easiest thing I’ve ever done.

Life for me is an easy one cause,

Loving you is the easiest thing I’ve ever done.

This song was inspired by William “Skip” Scott, the main character in my fiction novels, The Aftermath Series.

In chapter one of Aftermath II: The Deadly Game, during a tender, romantic moment, Skip says to Ahana, “Gorgeous, loving you is the easiest thing I’ve ever done.” (and he meant it)
